Privacy protects against fraud!

I believe in common sense. I would like to think that everyone has it. Maybe some more than others ... As a mortgage broker, it is imperative to remember how you must protect your client’s information. Not only is it our obligation, it is the law. Sometimes we are reminded by individuals who are careless. Have you ever heard the statement, “It only takes one?” Due to a recent headline, we should all revisit our privacy policies and remind our industry peers how carelessness affects each of us directly. Clients trust us for advice, direction and most importantly, they trust us with their information. Trust is easy to lose and hard to earn back.
