Provincial Qualifying Exam (PQE) for SK
Upon completion of the course work, students write the Provincial Qualifying Exam (PQE). The PQE consists of 94 multiple-choice questions. Learners have a maximum of 3 hours to complete the exam. All exam questions are based on the information provided in the online prestations and student manual, and do not reflect current market conditions.

When can I write the exam?
You are eligible to write the exam when:
- You have passed all the unit review quizzes with a grade of 70% or greater.
- You have completed the Practice Exam.
- You have received a email that notifies you that you are now eligible to write the exam.
- You have not exceeded one year from the date of purchase of the course.
- You have an Exam Authorization Form.

Exam centres are located in Regina and Saskatoon.
Additional locations throughout the province are available depending on date.

What do I take to the exam?
You must have:
- Exam authorization form. Students will NOT be permitted to write the exam without this form.
- Passport photo, taken within six months. The photo will be attached to the exam authorization form by the exam centre supervisor and submitted to AMBA by the exam centre.
- Photo ID for verification (i.e., driver's license, passport, etc).
- Visa or MasterCard for online payment at the time or writing. AMEX and PayPal are available at some exam centres. Contact the exam centre directly for accepted methods of payment.
- A non-programmable, and non-programmed calculator (optional). Students will NOT be permitted to use a real estate, financial or mortgage calculator such as the Canadian Qualifying Plus.
Please note: You will NOT be permitted to use your own brown book during the exam. Relevant pages from brown book will be accessible from the exam site as a PDF. Similarly, the insurance premium chart will be provided to you as a PDF, accessible from the exam site. Please see below:

How much does it cost?
The cost of the PQE is $125 and is payable at the time of testing. If unsuccessful at the first attempt, learners are permitted one re-write. The re-write cost is $125 and is payable at the time of re-write testing. You will require a credit card for online payment.

There is a bank of questions from which the system will randomly draw questions for the PQE. Below is an outline of how each chapter will be represented on the PQE.

What if I don't pass?
Students are permitted one re-write of the exam. Students will be automically authorized for a re-write if they are unsuccessful at their first attempt at the exam. Students will be able to access their re-write after 48 hours. Access to the re-write exam will require:
- Exam authorization form. Students will NOT be permitted to write the re-write without this form.
- Passport photo, taken within six months. The photo will be attached to the exam authorization form by the exam centre supervisor and submitted to AMBA by the exam centre.

If the second attempt at the PQE is unsuccessful, it will be necessary to re-enrol in the MAP SK program.
