Getting Licensed In Saskatchewan
The first step in obtaining a mortgage associate license in Saskatchewan is to choose one of the approved licensing programs.
AMBA's SK Mortgage Associate Program has been approved by the SK Financial Services Commission.

Completing the Educational Requirements for Licensing
1. To register for the AMBA SK Mortgage Associates Program, simply:
- Complete the online application. Click on the "Apply for Course" button at the bottom of this page.
- Fax/email/mail a copy of government-issued identification stating full legal name and birth date to AMBA.

2. Once we have received your government-issued ID, you will receive an email with instructions and log-in credentials for the online SK Mortgage Associates Program. Follow the links provided in the email to log-in and make the online payment for the course fee.
- If you have not received an email from us within 5 days of your application, please contact us at education@amba.ca or (888) 452-2652.
3. Your learning materials are accessible in electronic (PDF) format in your online student account. The PDF learning manual is downloadable. You will also receive the following supporting materials in the mail:
- Mortgage Tables Book (Brown Book)
- Exam Authorization Forms
Note: Incorrect or undeliverable addresses on the online application form may result in delays in receiving the Mortgage Tables Book or additional fees for re-sending or replacing undeliverable books.
4. Complete the online coursework. An electronic student manual supports narrated presentation slides. The slides must be completed in their entirety in order to be given access to the chapter quizzes.
- Achieve a grade of 70% or higher on the chapter quizzes to unlock the next chapter. You may take the quizzes as many times as you like.
5. You will receive an email indicating you are eligible to write the exam. Once you receive this email, contact Yardstick software to arrange a date and location for your final exam.
6. Find a brokerage to work under and submit a criminal record check with the SK Associate Licensing package.
