Key election dates
Nomination open: March 4 to 20
Voting period: March 25 to April 8
Election results: April 9 to 10
Board swearing-in: May 8 at AMBA's AGM
Nomination open: March 4 to 20
- Nominate yourself or a fellow industry professional.
- If nominated by someone else, you’ll have the option to accept or decline.
Voting period: March 25 to April 8
- AMBA Members cast one vote per open Director seat.
- There are two open seats, so each member will have the opportunity to cast two votes.
- Voting will take place via a secure, third-party platform—watch your inbox for your unique voting ID.
Election results: April 9 to 10
- Candidates will be notified on April 9.
- Results will be shared with all AMBA Members on April 10.
Board swearing-in: May 8 at AMBA's AGM
- The 2025-2026 Board term officially begins on May 8 at AMBA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) when the new Board is formally sworn in.
- Mandatory Board orientation on May 9.
What does the Board do?
AMBA’s Board of Directors shapes the future of our association and industry. Directors:
- Attend Board and committee meetings and actively contribute to discussions.
- Serve on at least one committee to support AMBA initiatives.
- Uphold AMBA’s bylaws, policies, and industry regulations.
- Advocate for the mortgage industry at provincial and national levels.
