I have built my expertise during a 13-year career in the banking industry. My start was with a major banking institution where I gained valuable experience and skills within all aspects of the bank from lending to investing and then management. Over the past 9 years, I have worked directly in the broker channel with CMHC and now First National. Both of these roles had me firmly entrenched in the broker network building relationships, developing market share and actively participating in all the major industry events and associations. The foundation in my approach with the broker network includes: Developing a deep understanding of a broker’s business by getting involved in more than deals including community events, marketing strategies and business planning; prioritizing needs and providing personalized education and training with the goal of improving efficiency, profitability, market share and brand.
