Tell us about you.
I'm a social media marketing consultant with a public relations and marketing background spanning over 11 years. When I'm not out marketing my wonderful clients to the interweb, I enjoy learning about wine and cooking or hiking with my five-year-old labradoodle Bailey!

Do I have to be on every social network?
NO. Absolutely not. And you shouldn't be..... why? Not every social network might make sense for you. Not to mention, to be on every network is a tonne of work.

What type of content should I share?
Engaging, meaningful content that speaks to your consumer, is brief and visual in nature and always concise.

What’s the best time to post?
If you are just starting out, the best time to post is between 11AM and 2PM.
Otherwise you can look into your analytics to see when your users are online.

Should I pay for social media advertising?
It depends, what is your budget and what is your capacity? Don't outspend your budget when you might be able to do it yourself. If you have built in social marketing to your marketing plan, then yes, hiring a professional can make life easier.

What’s my social media ROI?
Engagement. Staying away from getting too wrapped up in vanity metrics and tracking who is coming to you from social. You can do this via a "how did you hear about us?" campaign, lead generation and more.
